Here down under can you see a beautiful Church and an old Windmill of S:t Olof

 

               

The church of S:t Olof is a beautiful old church from the middle of 1100 century.

There are many Legends about this church and the saint S:t Olof. One Legend says there is a silver axe who could cure seriously diseases, if you rub the axe against your body nine times you would been cured. There where many people under the middle age that make a pilgrimage to S:t Olof.

 They had the hope, if they rubbed the axe against their body, a wonder should be happens who would cure and even raise relatives from the dead.

There are many Legends that says that it has been happened

 

The Church of Vitaby is a very beautiful Church, and a Middle-aged Church kept in Good condition
